Amazing support from individuals and from grant funding trusts has enabled us to reach our target and to buy the beautiful new support boat shown here.

In the last month we received grants of £1,000 each from Love the Broads and from The Lady Hind Trust. On behalf of the trustees of Wherry Maud, Linda received the Broads Trust cheque on board Maud a week ago – see photo below. Those two grants took the total raised to £10,500.

With the new boat already in use, we can look forward to increasing the frequency of Maud’s appearances on the rivers and broads. First, however, we must complete Maud’s major maintenance in September. We thank you all again and hope you will follow our progress on social media and on our website.
