One of the ways members can help with the Wherry Maud Trust’s objectives is to consider leaving a legacy to the charity. Gifts, no matter how small, are always welcome.

Do take legal advice when drawing up your will.

Trustees will use any legacy left to Wherry Maud Trust for capital projects and not for routine expenses. Please do discuss with our trustees before putting legal restrictions on how we use the bequest as that can cause difficulties. We will always try to comply with any preferences you have on how we use the money.

Wherry Maud Trust is a registered charity, no. 1161285, and that means that any bequest will be exempt from inheritance tax.

If you do wish to discuss the above with a trustee please use our contact form to make your initial enquiry.
